Mrs. C. A. Toepfer.

Bertha A. Toepfer, widow of C. H. Toepfer of Charles City, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. G. Davis of 1365 Elmhurst Drive NE, at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

She was born February 2, 1872, in Germany.

Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Davis, is another daughter, Mrs. Leonell Jones of Stitzer, Wisconsin; four sons, Alton Toepfer, Ralph Toopfer and Milton Toepfer of Charles City and Leonard Toepfer of Madison, Wisconisn; one sister, Mrs. Martha Rose of Cedar Rapids; two brothers. Paul Gruhn of Los Angeles and Gustav Gruhn of Waterloo, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Toepfer was a member of the Methodist church at Charles City.

The body was taken from the Turner Chapel to the Houser Funeral Home at Charles City where services will be held.
