Services for Floyd F. Kivell, 56, of 1318 Olympic Drive, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Westminster United Presbyterian Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the American Legion and VFW. Mr, Kivell died of cancer at his home Saturday.
He was born January 2, 1925, in Floyd County, Iowa, the son of Everette and Ethel Beesley Kivell. He married Eleanor Campbell September 4, 1949. in Waterloo. He served in the Army during World War II, and was employed in the livestock office at Rath Packing Co. until his
retirement in October 1979.Survivors include his wife; two daughters. Mrs. Charles Tyler of 1318 Olympic Drive and Mrs. Keith Ford of Dallas; a son Thomas of Des Moines; his mother of Shell Rock; a sister. Mrs. W. J. Ayres of Hudson; and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home until noon Tuesday and at the church for an hour preceding services.
