Mrs. Leona Rose Shrader, 64, a resident of Rural Route 1, Greene, died Thursday evening at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital. Prior to entering the hospital she had been a patient at the 11th St. Chautauqua Guest Home.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. John Lutheran church. Rev. Peter Peterson, pastor and Rev. Francis Griffeth, will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hage Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday and until Monday at 9 a.m. and then at the church.

Mrs. Shrader was born in Elma on Sept. 9, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Sarah Streich Shrader [error - Shrader is her married name not her fathers name.] On June 12, 1934, in Charles City, she married Wayne Shrader. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, Charles City; two daughters, Mrs. William (Darlene) Linn, Rural Route 1, Charles City and Mrs. Dennis (Rita Ann) Solvie, Charles City; a son DeWayne Shrader, Charles City; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildern and six brothers, Leo Streich, Charles City; LaVerne, Olwein; Leonard, Milwauke, Wisconsin and Lloyd, Louis and Larry, all of Charles City.
