HUMBOLDT, IOWA - Kenn Jenn, 72, of Humboldt, passed away July 12, 2005, at the Humboldt Care Center South.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Humboldt with the Rev. J.K. Raether officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

Mr. Jenn is survived by his sister, Joyce Fisher and her husband Ray, of Humboldt; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence E. and Evelyn E. (Bacon) Jenn.

Kenneth Edward Jenn, the son of Clarence E. and Evelyn E. (Bacon) Jenn, was born August 11, 1932, at Charles City. He was raised and educated there and graduated from Charles City High School in 1951. He then attended the Chicago Institute of Art and became an interior designer. He worked in the Waterloo and Cedar Rapids areas until moving to LaJolla, California, in 1979 and eventually to San Diego, California, where he practiced as a self-employed interior designer for many years. In March of 1998, Kenn returned to Iowa and made his home at Humboldt Homes until becoming a resident of the Humboldt Care Center South in June of this year.

Kenn enjoyed tending the Horse Shoe Garden at Humboldt Homes, as well as his own gardens, and bird watching and feeding.
