Death this morning called Arnold Douglas Waller, aged 56, at the Cedar Valley Hospital at five o'clock, death being caused by a complication of diseases caused by an operation for goiter last June at Nevada, Iowa.
Mr. Waller was a very prominent business man in Charles City, having lived here practically all of his life and great sympathy is extended to his many relatives and friends.
Mr. Waller was born March 18, 1861 in Durand, Illinois. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Waller.
Mr. Waller was a brother of Mrs. Ducharm and Mr. John P. Waller of this city and of Mrs. George R. May and Richard Waller, both deceased, during the past year. He is survived by his wife.
The funeral will take place from the home Friday afternoon.
