Hamm, George A.
OBITUARY.
George A. Hamm was born in Chickasaw County, March 7, 1870 and died at Charles City, IA., February 1, 1927.
He was married to Miss Nettie Parson July 16, 1892 and to this union was born one son who lives in the state of Oregon. He also leaves his wife and grandson Jack, who makes his home with them; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Cummings of Osage, IA., and Mrs. Etta Wait of Los Angeles, California and two brothers, Herbert of Osage, IA., and Harold of Denver, Colorado; and his aged mother who makes her home with Mrs. Cummings at Osage.
Having spent his entire life in this locality he had a very wide circle of friends and acquaintances who were shocked to learn of his untimely death especially in view of the fact that is was so similar to that of his brother Bert who was killed in an accident of the same kind in August 1922.
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church Friday afternoon, February 4th, at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. G. A. Hess and the remains laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
