KLINE - Died at his home in this city, May 4, 1896, of kidney disease, aged 63 years, 8 months and 17 days.
The deceased was born in Montgomery County, New York, August 17, 1832. At the age of 23 he was married to Miss Jane Snyder and moved to Albany, Greene County, Wis., where they resided until 1869 when they moved to Charles City and have resided here since. He leaves a wife and three children, Carlton Kline, of Cripple Creek, Colo., Chauncy L. of Denver, Colo. and Mrs. Emma Allen, wife of Truman Allen, of this city. Mr. Kline had been in poor health all winter but was confined to his bed only about two weeks. The funeral occurred at the home in the fourth ward Tuesday, May 5th, Rev. C. L. Gould conducting the services. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
