The death of Mr. Troutner has long been anticipated by the public. He has been an invalid for many years and has prolonged his life by sheer will force. He has been a great physical sufferer for a long time and welcomed the hour of death.
We have know Mr. Troutner intimately for many years. He has lived a quiet, peaceable, unassuming life. He was upright and honorable in all the relations of life. He was a devoted husband and father to his family and was warmly attached to his friends. He took an active interest in public affairs but was seldom demonstrative or aggressive. Thus one of our oldest and best citizens has passed away. Peace to his ashes.
