E. J. FISHER DEAD

This community was surprised and pained to earn that our old and respected citizen, E. J. Fisher, was dead at the family home 407 Spriggs Street.

He passed away between 8 and 9 o'clock this morning of apoplexy, aged 64 years. Mr. Fisher has lived here since 1869, leading a busy and blameless life. He has been in poor health for the past two years and for three or four weeks confined to his home, but no one anticipated the end was so near.

The funeral is expected to occur on Friday. Harry, the absent son, has been sent for and his arrival will determine the hour of services, which will be announced in the paper later.
