Gladys loved music and everything about it, she wrote many songs, she could play a few instruments, like violin, mandolin, accordion, but the guitar was what she was really good at. She played in a band by the name of Diamond T Cowboys for years. She was very proud of the fact that she was in the Foster Grandparent program, and these children were very lucky to have her. The one thing you could say about Gladys is she would not take no for an answer, also this was a woman who was loved by everyone who knew her. And the one thing Gladys would say to you is “you just have to play the hand you are dealt.”
