PIONEERS DEAD

Yaggy, Bumgardner and Mrs. Dean Old Time Residents

NORA SPRINGS - Three pioneer residents of Nora Springs died Sunday.

Ezra Yaggy, 86, ill only a couple of days, succumbed at the home of a son, Verne, three miles west of town. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the home at 1:30, a nephew, Oliver Hagg of Cedar Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Ira of Joliet, and Verne, with whom he lived. He had resided in this vicinity more than 60 years.

John Bumgardner, who was down town Friday, passed away suddenly Sunday morning. He leaves his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Tuttle, in California.

Mrs. Daniel Dean, 67, died Sunday afternoon following an illness of long duration. She had lived in this vicinity since a child. Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. William Matte, Mrs. Fay Baughey, and Mrs. Mertie Struchan, all of Nora Springs, and two sons, Clyde, Nora Springs, and Byron, Phoenix, Arizona.
