Services for Mrs. Emma C. Smith, 93, formerly of Park Towers apartments will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Temple of Memories in the Garden of Memories Cemetery

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West from 3 p.m. Saturday until 9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Smith died Thursday morning at the Windsor Care center in Cedar Falls, of complications of age.

She was born November 19, 1882, near Nashua, Iowa, the daughter of Alonzo and Henrietta Coffin Sutherland. She married H. Roy Smith in Charles City August 27, 1902. They lived in Charles City before moving to Waterloo in 1938, where Mrs. Smith was employed at the Waterloo Laundry.

Survivors include a son, Donald R., of 322 Polk St.; and a daughter, Mrs. Nina M. Briggs of Charles City.
