Rudd Woman Dies After Long Sickness

RUDD--Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Krause will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Sheckler's funeral parlors in Nora Springs, with burial in the Rudd cemetery. She died Friday in the Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City.

Mrs. Krause was born in Des Moines July 5, 1895, and spent much of her life in the vicinity of Charles City. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Krause, son Robert of San Francisco, who arrived in Rudd by plane Monday morning, her mother, Mrs. C. A. J. Peterson of Mason City, and a brother living at Rosco, Mo, who visited her recently. She was an active worker in the United Service Women's organization before her illness, a member of the R.N.A., Homesteaders and Order of the Eastern Star.
