Pioneer Resident Here, Dies at 91

Delbert Hunn, 91, life-long resident of Charles City, died last night at the Cedar Valley hospital following a short illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauser funeral home. The Rev. H.A. Risse, former pastor of the Christian church of which Mr. Hunn was a member will officiate. The Rev. Risse, will be assisted by the Rev. Robert L. Ossman, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist church.

Mr. Hunn was born on a farm four miles east of here Oct. 7, 1860. He lived in the Charles City vicinity all his life except for three years at Bradley, S.D. He was married to Ada Wiltse, Oct. 15, 1880. She died in 1915. Survivors are three sons: Sherman, Minneapolis; Orama, Chicago and Orrin of Charles City, and eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
