Rites Thursday For Two Rudd Crash Victims
RUDD- Funeral services for Robert F. Frankson, 24, one of three Rudd area young men killed in a one-car automobile accident early Monday morning two and a half miles east of Charles City on Hwy. 18, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church here. Burial will be in Rudd cemetery.
Frankson is survived by his foster, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Witzel, rural Rockford; his father, Lawny Frankson, Cheyenne, Wyo.; and a half brother and a half sister at Cheyenne. His mother died when he was two and a half months old. Sheckler funeral home at Nora Springs is in charge.
Services for Norman C. Melcher, 21, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, also at the Rudd Methodist church, with burial in Evergreen cemetery, Rudd. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Melcher, and a brother, Roger, at home.
Services for Louis J. Moeller, 24, were Wednesday in the Eden Presbyterian church, north of Rudd, with burial in the Eden cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gertie Moeller, and a brother, Paul.
