WATERLOO, IOWA — Carol LaVonne Lambert, 65, of Waterloo, died Monday, April 29, at Allen Hospital, of natural causes.

She was born on November 6, 1947, in Charles City, daughter of Albert L. and Kathleen L. Hagarty Lambert.

Mrs. Lambert graduated from Columbus High School in 1966. She received her LPN certification from Hawkeye Community College. She worked at St. Francis Hospital, Black Hawk County Home and Windsor Care Center, retiring in 2003.

She is survived by her mother of Waterloo; a son, Jeff (Charissa) of Waverly; three grandchildren: Kristina, Paisley and Anthony; a brother, Richard Lambert of Waterloo; a sister, Kathy (John) Giesler of Cedar Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.
