HERMAN BORTZ DIES IN RUDD

RUDD, IOWA - Funeral services were being arranged here Tuesday for Herman Bortz, 57, who died Monday night at his home three miles north of Rudd. Mr. Bortz had been in poor health for four years and had suffered a heart attack Friday. Surviving are his widow and a daughter, Kathryn.

Bortz Funeral to Be Thursday Afternoon

RUDD, IOWA - Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house and at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church in Rudd for Herman Bortz. Services will be in charge of the Rev. David Lang, Evangelical minister of Nora Springs, with the Rev. S.J. Baldwin of the Rudd Methodist church assisting. Burial will be in the Rudd cemetery.
