Funeral for Mrs. I.V. Hodgin Held At Rudd Wednesday

Former Greene Woman Died February 24 Following Long Illness. Moved From Greene in 1927.

Funeral service for Mrs. I.V. Hodgin, age 71, former Greene woman living at Rudd, was held last Wednesday. Burial was made in the Rudd cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Hodgin lived here two different times. from 1894 until they moved to Nora Junction, and later returning until moving to Rudd in 1926. Before moving to Rudd the operated a dairy and milk route here.

Ella E. Shearer was born in 1869, near Yankton, South Dakota, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Shearer.

She was married to Mr. Hodgin 1886 at Milltown, South Dakota.
