Mrs. Cook Brot From Wisconsin for Burial

NORA SPRINGS, Aug 14--Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Jackson Cook were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church, the Rev. H. A. Crumb officiating. Burial was in the Rudd cemetery. Mrs. Cook died Monday night at her home in Cumberland, Wis., from cancer. She will be remembered as Mrs. Lottie Jackson and had lived most of her life in this vicinity. She was a sister of Mrs. Martin Crum and has many other relatives here.

Charlotte May Dean was born Feb. 22, 1867 near Nora Springs, where she grew to womanhood. In 1894 she was married Lewis Jackson. To this union two children were born. Mrs. Melva Plants of Hammond, Indiana and Leon Jackson of Sacramento, Calif.

In 1924 Mr. Jackson died and in 1925 she was married to E. M. Cook of Cumberland, Wisconsin, where she lived until her death. She had been ill several months from cancer and died Monday night. Her daughter had been with her the last few weeks. Those who survive her are her husband, son and daughter, a brother, Guss Dean of Nora Springs, two sisters, Mrs. Martin Crumb, Rudd, and Mrs. Sadie Brown of Garner and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chris Wilson, Lee Stickney, John Curphey, Gus Jacobson, Dave O'Rourke, and Sidney Grandy.
