CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Barbara R. Huffman, 80, of Charles City formerly of Nashua, died Monday, January 14, 2002, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City of natural causes.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Gersema of Nashua; a son, Michael of Texas; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bonnie Braden of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, on May 18, 1979; a daughter, Joanne Huffman; and two brothers, Robert and Ralph Goodnow Jr.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Chonoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua, with burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, near Charles City.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Mrs. Huffman was an antique dealer.
