CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Services for Clifford D. Newton, 76, who died Sunday morning at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at Floyd.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Hoel of West Des Moines; a son, Tech Sgt. Dean Newton stationed with the Air Force in England; five grandchildren; three brothers: Howard and James, both of Osage, and Keith of Bettendorf; and a sister, Mrs. Wilma O'Brien of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska.

Friends may call at Hauser Funeral Home after 7:30 p.m. Monday, all day Tuesday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday and after noon at the church Wednesday.
