Henry Graeser – October 25, 1878 – May 2, 1966

HENRY GRAESER DIES AT 87

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Methodist church in Nashua for Henry Graeser, 87, who had been a resident of Nashua since 1942.

The Rev. Harvey Walker will officiate and burial will be in Sunnyside Memorial Gardens near Charles City. Chenoweth & Son of Nashua are in charge of arrangements.
Henry died at the hospital in Waverly Monday morning. He had been hospitalized for a week.

Music will be my mrs. Nelda Shepard, organist. Flowers will be in charge of Mrs. Gladys Holmes and Mrs. Bernice Koster, neighbors. Casket bearers will be Albert, Clifford, and Alvin Graeser, Herbert and Lawrence Soldwisch and Ronald Miller.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Elmer and Merle, both of Plainfield, and Leonard, Brookfield, Illinois; five daughters; mrs. Jerry (Laura) Riddle, Bettendorf; Mrs. Will (Florence) Roberts, Batesville, Arkansas; Mrs. Laverne (Margaret) Jensen, Sioux City; Mrs. Roger (Jeanette) White, Plainfield, 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Vivian Graeser.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert.
