Last Wednesday morning, Jos. Immerface, an employe of the B., C. R. & N. R'y, was killed while at work in a gravel pit near Nora Springs. While letting a section of the train into the gravel pit down a steep grade, he lost control of the cars and when they came together in the pit, he was caught between two cars and crushed to death.

He leaves a wife who has been in the insane hospital at Independence for several months, and one son.
