Joan “McCauley” White

Joan “McCauley” White, age 85, died Sunday March 10, 2013, at the Broadmore Nursing Home in Lockport, Louisiana. She was born April 1, 1927, in Charles City to Joe and Ruth McCauley, and worked at White Farm for many years.

A cremation memorial service was held March 14, in Raceland, Louisiana. A memorial service will be held in Charles City at a later date.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine White and Mary (Toby) Chaubin. A son-in-law, Bruce Harrold. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother, Eugene McCauley and two sisters, Marlene Harris and Janet Zubrod.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Ruth McCauley, her husband Harold White and Don Molitor and her daughter Michelle Harrold.

Raceland, Louisiana - Joan Ruth White, 85, a native of Charles City, Iowa, and resident of Raceland, died at 6:32 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine White and Mary Chauvin; one brother, Eugene McCauley; two sisters, Mary Harris and Janet Zubrod; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold White; parents, Joseph and Ruth H. McCauley; and one daughter, Michele Harrold.

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
