CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be at Grossmann's Chapel, Thursday at 2 p.m. for Joseph Kunkler, 74, who died at Cedar Valley Hospital here at 10:30 p.m. Monday, where he was taken a month ago. Burial in Rowley Hill Cemetery, at Bassett.

He came to the United Stated from Germany 40 years ago, and had worked as a farm hand in and around the community. He had made his home at the Ed Wegner farm home in Bassett the last three years.

He has no relatives in this country.
