Isabelle Ingeborg Fosh​oldt was born March 3, 1886 at Rock Grove, Floyd, Iowa to Syver J​ohnsen Fosholdt and Jo​hanna Haraldsdatter Gr​ov, the seventh of their eight children and the second daughter to be given the name Ingeborg. She was baptized on April 11, 1886 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Ole O. Fjelde, Kristofer and Kari Klemmesrud.

Isabelle was confirmed at RCLC on June 2, 1901. She attended rural school near her father's farm in Rock Grove, Iowa.

1910: Syver Johnsen Fosholdt 70, John Fosholdt 33, Harold Syversen Fosholdt 32, Thorvald Syversen Fosholdt 28, Ingeborg Fosholdt 24, Lizzie Elizabeth Lise Fosholdt 21.

1915: Isabelle Fosholdt age 28.

1920: John Fosholdt 42, Thorval Fosholdt 38, Isabelle Fosholdt 33, Seevar J Fosholdt 80.

Ingeborg and some of her family members moved west to California.

1940: Elizabeth Fosholdt 51, Isabelle Fosholdt 54.

Isabelle Fosholdt never married nor had children. She died on July 23, 1975​ at Long Beach, Los Angel​es, California and was buried there.
