Darold Walter Cline – May 24, 1932 – March 20, 1979

Services for Darold Cline were held Thursday afternoon, March 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Hauser's Funeral Home, Charles City, with military burial at Memorial Gardens. Rev. Webb of Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City, officiated.

Darold had been an employee of White Farm Equipment 14 years, a member of V.F.W., Charles City Bowling Association.

He is survived by his wife, Lucile, one son, Barry Cline, Shepherd Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Martin (Barbara) Kramer, Algona; Mrs. Leslie (Beth) Parker III of Ionia, three brothers, Donald, Gary and Dale of Charles City; three sisters, Mrs. John (Maxine) Monroe and Mrs. James (Mary) Benedict of Charles City and Mrs. Ed (Carol) Stayner, Mitchell; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cline, Rockford. There are four grandchildren.

Darold Walter Cline was born May 24, 1932 in Iowa, the son of Walter Henry Cline and Elsie Matilda (Thompson) Cline.

His mother died October 6, 1934 from childbirth. His father married Lila Pauline Cross after the death of Elsie.
