Carl J. Hugos, 83, of Nora Springs, died Sunday, November 1, 1992 at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Christian Church, 102 N. Hawkeye, with the Rev. Steven Sorensen officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Big Canoe Cemetery, Highlandville, Iowa.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye, Nora Springs, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Carl Hugos was born April 17, 1909 in Froid, Montana. He was engaged in farming for the most part of his life.

Survivors include one sister, Glayd Cutler, Nora Springs; four nephews; and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
