Dawn Taylor, 90, of Charles City, died Friday, September 7, 2012, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.

Graveside services are private.

Dawn Clarus Taylor was born October 10, 1921, at Osage. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She also looked forward to spending time with the Colleen Ortmayer family.

Living family members include three grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Irene Taylor of Fargo, North Dakota; three nieces, Colleen (Duane) Ortmayer and Janice Barrett both of Charles City and Cheryl (Hal) Hildreth of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Taylor; a son, Jon Taylor; two sisters, Marie Cole and June Johnson; and two nephews, Gary and Tommy Johnson.
