Arlyn Pippert, 81, of Nora Springs, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 8, 1992, at home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 11, 1992, at First United Methodist Church in Nora Springs, with Rev. Richard Pippert officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery.

The family wishes memorials be made to the church, in memory of Arlyn Pippert.

Arlyn Pippert was born on November 21, 1910, in Mason City, to Charlie and Emma (Pelzer) Pippert. He married Luella Odland, on September 21, 1937, in Parkersburg, Iowa.

Her grew up in Cerro Gordo county, Iowa, and went to school in Mason City. He farmed around the Mason City area and after retiring, he moved into Nora Springs.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF).

Survivors include his wife, Luella Pippert, Nora Springs; one son, Lyle Pippert, Council Bluffs; four grandchildren: Juliane, David, Sarah, and Mary Pippert, all of Council Bluffs; and two brothers, Calvin Pippert of Clear Lake, and Jess Pippert of Northwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
