MRS. HERMAN KNEISEL SUCUMBS NEAR RUDD AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Rudd – Mrs. Herman Kneisel, 50, died at her home northeast of here Thursday night following a long illness with diabetes.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete Friday morning.

Mrs. Kneisel had been ill for a year and in poor health for a longer period than that.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Percy of Minneapolis; Foy of Beloit, Wisconsin; and Marlin, Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, and her mother; Mrs. C. M. Patten of Rudd.

Mabel Dean was born June 1890 in Rudd, Floyd Co., Iowa, the daughter of Elmer Ellsworth Dean and Nellie (Robeson) Dean. She married Herman Fred Kneisel the son of John Kneisel and Anna (Apel) Kneisel.

Her father Elmer Ellsworth Dean had 3 wives according to information found on his Find A Grave memorial in Missouri. He died in 1930.
