Herbert Mosher – April 13, 1861 – October 16, 1931

HERBERT MOSHER RITES ARE HELD AT ROCKFORD

Rockford, Oct. 20. – Funeral services for Herbert Mosher, who died at his home Friday afternoon following a long illness, were held Sunday afternoon in the Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. Charles E. Luce.

Mr. Mosher was born April 13, 1861, at DeKalb, Illinois. When he was 6 years of age he moved with his parents to marble Rock where he lived until 1882 when he moved to a farm southwest of Rockford.

On September 20, 1890, he was united in marriage to Miss Leota Putnam.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters; Mrs. Lee Wood and Mrs. John Hansen, and one son, glen E. Mosher, all of here; five brothers, Luvern, San Bernardino, California; William, Kooskia, Idaho; Charles, Faribault, Minnesota; Arthur and Delos of Rockford; and one sister; Mary Parcher, Marble Rock.
