James E. Linderkamp, 46, of Chicago, Illinois, died Tuesday, November 16, 1993, at home, of cancer.

Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Chicago.

Graveside services were held at Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa, with Rev. S. Meyer officiating.

Fullerton Patterson-James Funeral Chapel, Mason City was in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Linderkamp was born on February 19, 1947, in Mason City, to Edward and Gloria (Jenkins) Linderkamp. He graduated from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock High School and then from Mason City Junior College.

He resided in Des Moines for five years before moving to Chicago in 1973. He worked at Chicago Northwestern Railroad where he was an employee for 20 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Chicago.

James is survived by his mother, Gloria Linderkamp, Mason City; one sister, Julie Linderkamp, Des Moines; one nephew, Brian and his wife, Teresa Howe of Rockford; and longtime friend, Thomas Hull of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, in 1981, and a sister Jenetta, in 1970.
