ROCKFORD YOUTH HANGS HIMSELF

Rockford, Ia. – Harlan L. Sido, 13 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sido, accidentally hung himself at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at his parents’ farm home, six miles east of Rockford, Floyd county coroner Carl Hauser of Charles City, said Thursday.

The boy was in the eighth grade at Rockford school and was completing his first year of 4-H club work.

Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Marlene, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sido, Rockford, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Priebe, Rockford.

Funeral services will be at the Grossman Funeral Home at 2 pm. Friday. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
