AUGUST VOLKMAN, 72, NORA SPRINGS , INJURED IN FALL FROM BICYCLE

August H. Volkman, 72, was admitted to Mercy Hospital at Mason City Saturday noon for treatment of injuries received two days ago when he fell from his bicycle.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR AUGUST H. VOLKMAN, 72, THURSDAY AFTERNOON

Nora Springs – Funeral services for August Herman Volkman, 72, who died Monday evening at his home here, will be held at the Evangelical church of this community Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. Mrs. Lange in charge.
Burial will be in the Park Cemetery.

August Herman Volkman was born August 1864 in Germany, the son of Karl Volkman and Henrietta Vagruette (parents names from 1925 Iowa Census).

He married Hedwig Amelia Boettcher, the daughter of John Boettcher and Amelia Miller (parents names from 1925 Iowa Census)
