PATRICK MARTIN

NASHUA, IOWA - Patrick Martin, 33, of Nashua, passed away Sunday evening (Nov. 19, 2000) at the USA Healthcare in Mason City, of complication of juvenile diabetes.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 24, at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua. Burial will be in Riverton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 23, at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home.

Patrick Martin was born November 22, 1966, in Waterloo, to William L. and Opal (Johnson) Martin. He attended Nashua schools and obtained his GED at a later date. He worked for a time at Arby's.

He is survived by his mother, Opal (Johnson) Martin, of Mason City; his father and stepmother, William L. and Norine Martin, of Irving, Texas; two brothers, William LeRoy Martin, of Greene, and Michael Martin, of Nashua; five sisters, Peggy Wefel and Linda Martin, both of Waterloo, Karen Reisem, of Greene, Sheryl Montgomery, of Urbana, Ohio, and Jolene Martin, of Irving, Texas; a grandfather, William F. Martin, of Postville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Nellie Johnson; paternal grandmother, Minda Martin; and two sisters, Kathleen and Mary Kay Martin.
