NASHUA, IOWA — Elsena Ritzman, 78, of Nashua, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Debra Lincoln and the Rev. J. Larry Vallery officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Sunnyside Chapel, rural Charles City, and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
Elsena Ritzman was born March 18, 1920, in Butler County near Kesley.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, of Nashua; three daughters: Maxine Heim, of Dubuque; Judy Bailey, of Charles City; and Lois Rover, of Nora Springs; one son, William, of Charles City; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeanette Schroeder, of Elma; and two brothers, Floyd DeVries, of Austin, Minn., and Robert DeVries, of Floyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.
