Nora Telvena Anderson was born January 20, 1903 at rural Floyd, Iowa to Nels Anderson and Anna Maria Halvorsdatter Horgen. She was the last of their 10 children.

Lester R. (born October 16, 1900 Floyd, Iowa, died September 4, 1979 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa).

Nora married Arthur Noble Nelson (born December 3, 1899 Grand Meadow, Clayton, Iowa, to John and Isabell Nelson, died April 13, 1996 Decorah, Winneshiek, Iowa) on January 20, 1921 in Iowa. The couple had three children: Noraine Janet, Mary Ann and Arthur.

Found in the 1915, 1925 censuses living at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:

1925: Arthur Nelson 25, Nora Nelson 21.

Found in the 1930 census living at Clermont, Fayette, Iowa: Arthur N. Nelson 30, Nora T. Nelson 27, Maryann A. Nelson 0[6/12], Amy G. Nelson 22.

Nora Anderson Nelson died August 11, 1969 at Clermont, Fayette, Iowa.

Services were conducted Friday, August 15, 1969, at the West Clermont Lutheran Church at Clermont for Nora T. Nelson who passed away at her home near Clermont, August 11, 1969. The Rev. Clarence Johnson officiated.

Nora Telvena Anderson Nelson was born January 20, 1903 in Floyd, Iowa the daughter of Nels and Anna Horgan Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.

On January 20, 1921 she was united in marriage to Arthur Noble Nelson. To this union three children were born, Noraine Janet, who died in infancy; Mary Ann (Mrs. Dean Schultz of Monona) and Arthur Norman of Clermont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Noraine, four brothers, Albert, Oscar, Henry and Gilbert, and two sisters, Martha and Bertina.

She is survived by her husband, son and daughter and nine grandchildren; one brother Lester, of Osage and two sisters, Alma Clark of Cedar Falls and Olga Turner of Mitchell. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery, Clermont, Fayette, Iowa.
