Opal M. Faulkner

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, February 22, 1994 at 11 a.m. at the Sunnyside Funeral Chapel in Charles City for Opal M. Faulkner, 65. Burial was in the Sunnyside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Faulkner died Friday afternoon, February 18, at the Covenant Medical Center/Hospice in Waterloo, of cancer.

Opal M. Faulkner was born on August 21, 1928 in Cherokee, to Albin and Pearl May (Brooks) Severin.

She married Raymond L. Faulkner on October 8, 1948, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She was a nurse’s aide in the Charles City area for several years.

Living family members include three daughters: Sandra Faulkner of Rockford, Tami Carpenter and
Wanda Eggers, both of Belmond; one son, Lloyd of Waterloo; and four brothers: Jack and Frank of
Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Lloyd and Virgil of Charles City. There are 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond, on May 16, 1989; and a brother,
Edward Severin.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
