Ervin L. Farmer

Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City for Ervin L. Farmer, 66, of rural Charles City, who died Wednesday, June 1, 1994. He had been a patient at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Center in Mason City, following a lengthy illness.

Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag officiated at Mr. Farmer’s service. Burial was in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens following military graveside honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Fullerton Hage Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ervin Lloyd Farmer was born November 16, 1927 in Waterloo.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Charles City; four sons: Steven and Darrin, both of Charles City; Aland and Brian, both of Orchard; two daughters: Judy Raymond of Dike and Janine Schwarck of Riceville; one brother, Bernard Farmer of Phoenix, Arizona; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.

Mr. Farmer was known in the area for his Farmer Realty business.
