DIES AT HOSPITALFuneral Services to Be Held
Tuesday Afternoon at
2:30 O'clock.Harold Wilbert Johnson, 46, died at a local hospital about 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening following an operation for appendicitis.
He had resided in Mason City for the past 39 years and had been an electrical contractor here for the past 18 years.
Mr. Johnson was born at Rockford, Iowa, on June 26, 1888. He had resided in Mason City, however, throughout most of his life. He was a member of the Congregational Church.
Surviving Mr. Johnson are his wife, Martha, and two daughters, Jeanne Elizabeth, 18, and Judith Gordon, 10, and mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Bowles, Mason City.
Funeral services will be held at the Patterson funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Alexander Carlson of the Congregational church in charge. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the residence, 645 First street southeast, until 10 o'clock Tuesday morning when it will be taken to the Patterson Funeral Home.
