MARBLE ROCK, IOWA, Nov. 19 - Folkert Boom died at his residence east of town Wednesday morning. He had been in poor health for some time but he had not been confined to his bed long.

His widow, formerly Miss Maggie Garbiner, with two sons, William and Clifton, survive.

The funeral was at the M. E. Church Friday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Dwello officiating. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, beside a son, Wayne.
