CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday [28 JUN 1954] at the Hauser Funeral Home for Donald Edward Schilling, 50, lifelong resident of Charles City, who died late Friday (25 JUN 1954] afternoon at the Cedar Valley Hospital here, where he had been a patient since June 22. Burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Born in Charles City February 19, 1904, son of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Schilling, he was an automobile mechanic.
He leaves a daughter, Sharon Rae Schilling, 15, Waterloo; his mother, Mrs. Jennie Schilling, Charles City; one sister, Mrs. Dora Sweetser, Brainerd, Minnesota, and a brother, Albert, Charles City.
His father, and infant son and two sisters preceded him in death.
