MASON CITY, IOWA - Neola Horn, 78, of Mason City, died Saturday (Feb. 11, 2006) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 419 N. Delaware Ave. with the Rev. Mark Lavrenz officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave.

Memorials may be directed to the Neola Horn Memorial Fund.

Neola Fuller was born on August 13, 1927, the daughter of Cecil and Viola (Woodward) Fuller in Charles City. She attended elementary school at Mt. Vernon Township No. 2 and high school in Swaledale graduating from Swaledale High School in 1944. She moved to California and lived there for forty years before returning to Mason City in 1991.

Neola was united in marriage to Gary Horn on Aug. 30, 2003, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ventura. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Neola liked to make other people happy. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mason City.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of two and a half years, Gary, of Mason City; her sons, Don Miller and wife Lisa of Sylva, N.C., Jon Miller and wife Linda of Beaufort, S.C.; grandchildren, Amy, Stacy, Angela, Aric, Jessica and Mark Miller and Amber Dahl and husband Wayne of Tacoma, Wash.; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Walter D. Fuller and wife Shirley of Mason City, Dorothy Lavender and husband William of Newark, Ohio, Donald A. Fuller and wife Bernadine of Mason City and Ruth Baack and husband Robert of Britt.

Neola was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Viola (Woodward) Fuller; and one brother, Cecil Fuller Jr., her first husband, Everett Miller, second husband, William V. Ivey, and her third husband, Elwood Oeltjenbrun.
