Funeral services for Emma Lois Fangmeier, age 67, of Waterloo, Iowa and formerly of Nashua, Iowa were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at Garden View Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Emma Lois, daughter of Arthur and Florence (Fosler) Ashton, was born February 5, 1923 in Seward, Nebraska. Emma married Milo Fangmeier on February 27, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the past president of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 764.

Emma Lois Fangmeier died Sunday, March 18, 1990 at the Cedar Falls, Iowa Health Care Center of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milo Fangmeier, who died January 31, 1986, and a brother Arthur "Bud" Ashton, Sr.

There are no immediate survivors.
