MRS. HARM EGGENA RITES SATURDAY AT ROCKFORD

Rockford – Mrs. Harm Eggena, 77, died Wednesday at her home here following a long illness. Her husband died last October.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Amedee Fredette of Nora Springs will officiate. The body will be taken to the family home Friday afternoon.

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Rena Uhlenhopp, Aplington; Mrs. Mae Paulus, Mason City; Mrs. Helen Lackore, Osage; three sons; George Lichtsinn, Nora Springs; William Lichtsinn, Mason City; Harm Eggena Jr., Rockford; four stepchildren; John Eggena, Greene; Rudolph Eggena, Mason City; Albert Eggena, Thornton; Mrs. Ann Klunder, Osage.

Her daughter Helen (Eggena), Lackore-Depp-Rieken’s obit has her mother as Fuekea (Dewitt) Eggena.
Her son Harm Eggena Jr. has his mothers’ name as Fuekea (DeWitt) Lichtsinn Eggena.

Fuekea Dewitt was born ca. 1885 in Germany. She married Herman W Lichtsinn, born November 16, 1883 (WWI Draft Registration), who according to his sons obit, died in 1920. Her second husband was Harm Johnson Eggena
