Leo Lidd Sr.
CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Services for Leo Lidd, Sr., 83, a Charles City clothier for more than 50 years, who died Suinday morning at his home, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary cemtery.
Rosaries at 3 p.m. Tuesday and the parish scripture service at 8 p.m., both at Hauser Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Leo J. Lidd Jr., of Charles City; two daughters, Mrs. William (Rita) Cordray of Charles City and Mrs. Elliott Ziegenfuss of Keokuk.
Mr. Lidd's father, John J., established Lidd's Clothing Store in 1923 in Charles City, which is now in the third generation of operation. His son, Leo Lidd Jr., and son-in-law William Cordray, operate the store today.
