BRACKEN

Clifford Bracken was born October 1, 1888, and died in Floyd, Iowa, January 6, 1907. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bracken and was the eldest of six children, two of whom died in infancy. For the past four years he has been employed in the Floyd bank and was a very trust-worthy young man. He was ill only a short time, having contracted the dread disease, typhoid pneumonia, of which he died last Sunday at the Floyd hotel where he boarded.

The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Floyd and the remains were laid to rest in the Floyd cemetery. The many beautiful floral tributes expressed to the sorrowing family the sympathy of their relatives and friends.
