KONNIE MESSERLIE

Charles City – Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home for Konnie Sue Messerlie, 13 months. She died in the Cedar Valley Hospital Tuesday morning. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory gardens near Charles City.

Born December 31, 1961, in Mason City, she was the daughter of James and Ivadelle Lane Messerlie.

She is survived by her parents and three sisters; Karla Jo, Karol Kae, and Kandace Lea. Grandparents are Mrs. Hazel A. Messerlie, Kenosha, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lane, Charles City. Mrs. Augusta Pierce, Elma, is the great-grandmother, and Warren M Lane, Charles City, is the great-grandfather.

James Messerlie, Konnie’s father was born in Mitchell, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Hazel Messerlie. The Augusta Pierce great grandmother in the above obit was the mother of Hazel Pierce Messerlie.
