Lenore (Bluhm) Sannes 1907-1945

Funeral services for Mrs. Lenore Bluhm Sannes, 37, wife of Dr. C. R. Sannes of Madison, Wisconsin were Saturday at Madison Wisconsin, and Sunday afternoon at the Hauser funeral home in Charles City, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Nee Lenore Bluhm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J Bluhn, she was born August 24, 1907, at Madison. She was raised and educated in Charles City and after graduation from high school attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

On December 25, 1942, she was married to Dr. C. R. Sannes of Madison.

On April 14, 1943, her mother Mrs. Aletha Bluhm died, and since that time she had spent a great deal of her time in Charles City, assisting her father in his business.

On October 6th Mrs. Sannes gave birth to a son at a hospital in Prairie du Chien and both the mother and child were making satisfactory progress until she was stricken with a cerebral embolus.

She leaves her husband, 10 day-old baby Norman Christen, and her father, here.
